Loss Prevention / Asset Protection Field Advisor

We work in the physical security and loss prevention space, and we're looking for experienced practitioners to serve as field advisors. This is a paid, part-time, fully remote consulting engagement focused on the realities of loss prevention on the ground — how it actually works in real retail, enterprise, and operational environments.

What this is

A consulting role centered on the field, not on any one company's roadmap. We want your perspective as someone who has run loss prevention in the real world: the operational realities, the technology that helps or gets in the way, and what customers and security teams actually need versus what they are sold.

What you'll do

  • Bring your field experience to structured advisory conversations on LP operations, investigations, and incident and video review.
  • Map how loss prevention teams in different environments actually use their security technology day to day.
  • Identify the real-world gaps between what the market offers and what practitioners need.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in loss prevention, asset protection, or corporate security, with real field experience.
  • A working understanding of the LP and physical security technology landscape — VMS/CCTV, access control, EAS, POS and exception-based reporting, case and incident management, and analytics.
  • The ability to articulate how things actually work in the field, not just in theory.
  • Currently working in, or recently departed from, an LP or security operations role.

Logistics

  • Fully remote, anywhere in the US.
  • Roughly 2 hours per week, flexible scheduling.
  • $300/hour, paid per session (early wrap billed pro-rata).
  • Ongoing and month-to-month — no long-term commitment required.
Optional, but a great backup to your resume.
